Need I say more?  From stunning Mom, to stunning daughters  -I give you about two more years, then watch out, lock these beauties away!

C is a good friend of mine from our University days at Waterloo; I've been wanting to do a formal shoot with her for a while now, and finally had the opportunity.  Lucky me, I even got to play Stylist by raiding their closets!

Oh, Miss A, you are way too busy!  I was very lucky to have you sit for 10 seconds to grab this shot!   You had my fingers working overtime to capture you!

Do you know how sometimes you just "get" someone right away?  S "got" me right away.  On a professional-client level, we clicked.  For me, these sessions are no less than Magical.  We both knew exactly what she wanted out of this session.  I hate to admit, but I often get nervous when showing proofs to a client -that darned self doubt we all face; "what if they're not what they wanted/expected?" -not this time, I just know they are going to love these as much as I do!

M just turned 5 and will be heading soon to Sr.K; a magical time that S wanted to capture.  She is such a typical 5 year old -spunky, silly, and sweet to the core -I knew I was "in" with her when she absently grabbed my hand while we were walking along.  Is that not such a great 5 year old thing to do?? 

Can you believe this ice cream truck parks in our court yard almost daily & I've never once given Gavin money to buy anything?  I know, child torture!  Honestly, it always seems to come just at/before dinner time, or after we've already had a treat.  One day Gav, I promise!

Oh, here we go, a brand new beer bottle cap to add to the collection -ice cream forgotten!

I'm sure everyone was holding thier collective breath for good weather for this, the 10th annual tradition at the H Farm.  They were lucky enough to get not only good weather, but perfect weather, an amazing venue, and I was lucky enough to be invited.  Here's a sneak peak at the Mini-Sessions & thanks again!

Sure, the Olympics are all about sport, competition, teamwork, national pride, and bringing together in peace and fair game the premier atheletes from countries all over the world -this year, 204 are participating!  For me, the best & most exciting part of the Olympics has already occurred; the Opening Ceremonies!  The grandeur, the spectacle, the mind-boggling months of  planning, training, choreography -the sheer creativity that goes into these productions just blows me away.  I always, always choke up during the opening ceremonies.  And, as always as soon as they bring out the children, I am a bawling idiot -add in a song sung by a sweet faced cutie & I'm on my third tissue. 

The Beijing Opening Ceremonies were no dissappointment; fireworks, thousands of performers in crazy sync -those drummers were amazing, as were the typeface performers.  My favourite part were the 29 footsteps in fireworks leading to the Olympic stadium -who came up with that concept??  Brilliant!  I'm disappointed, I can't find a photo captured of it, but will keep looking.  For now, please enjoy some press photos from the event, and some very interesting facts about the Beijing Opening Ceremonies.
